Who is an Architect? Define...

"An architect is an artist, creator, logician of evolving aesthetic structures; a designer of not only the visual but the internal space. I see architecture as a synthesis of logic and emotion, exploring and fulfilling the dreams, fantasies and realities of my clients, whether they are individuals, corporate, or community identities. - Traditional Design Approach- Robert Harvey Oshatz

First Day......a Starchitect is born!

I've known "Blogg..ing" for quite sometime but I was more interested in going to and reading up on other people's blogg. I guess then i did not have time to write....but then again I don't think that I will write so much anyway. Well, you've seen other Bloggers who writes on sports, weddings, entertaintment etc, well mine would focus more on the Architectural World....anything to do with architects, architecture and the profession.

Well you've guessed it by now, I am a practising architect, currently heading one of the leading architectural firm in Brunei.

Eversince I was little, my interest was on IT. It started when my mom bought my first PC, it was the PC-XT then. Later, I gradually learn how to "code" as well as some basic programming from the guy who sold me the pc. After a while, i realised that the XT had slowed down on me so i bought a second one, which was the 386, then i upgraded to 486, later on i moved on to pentium, pentium 2,3, and so on! So basically i had bought and assembled every generation of PC that has existed and to tell you the truth.....I'm quite proud of it! So how come I did not turn up to be a computer programmer or anything do to with IT? Well, ........I began to realise that my interest on PC programming had faded when I took 'A' Level in Computer Programming at school, it was really boring and i was struggling. Ofcourse, I had to dropped it and quickly embarked upon another subject which was more appealling ........ Architecture!!
